The Bill Murray Look-a-Like Polar Bear Plunge, Folly Beach. 1pm at the Pier.
Dunleavy’s Pub Polar Bear Plunge on Sullivan’s Island.
Polar Bear Plunge 2020 at Kiawah will be at 11:45 at the Sanctuary
The Charleston real estate market is doing quite well and may exceed the records set in 2017. Through October, 2019 had .3% more transactions than the same 2018 period and median sales price was up 4.2% YTD. Median sales price is now at a record high of $282k. This includes condos and townhomes as well as single family detached homes. The median price of just single family detached sales is now at $300k. While Mt Pleasant continues to be the most attractive and pricey suburb, Summerville and Goose Creek are getting a lot of new construction to fill the housing needs of Volvo.
