🏡 Charleston Real Estate Market Update
So far in 2025, Charleston’s real estate market is tracking close to where we were in 2024. Mortgage rates have ticked back up to around 7%, though the Federal Reserve has signaled the possibility of a quarter-point cut later this year — maybe even two before year’s end.
Transactions: Up 0.7% year-to-date compared to 2024.
Median Sales Price: Up 2.7%, now at $442,000.
Outlook: The market remains steady with modest growth in both sales volume and pricing.

Charleston continues to shine on the national stage with major investments and developments:
City of Charleston is investing $3.3M into two new recreation centers (West Ashley & Johns Island).
I-95 Widening Project – An $825M project in partnership with Georgia to improve interchanges, bridges, and add a new Savannah River bridge.
Charleston Literary Festival – Nov 7–16, featuring more than 50 authors, including Reese Witherspoon.
Camp Hall Commerce Park (Moncks Corner) – Named the #1 Industrial Park in the Nation, with a projected $7.9B statewide impact by 2035.
