The Charleston Farmers Market is in full swing each Saturday from 8am-2pm in Marion Square. The Mt Pleasant Farmers market continues every Tuesday afternoon at Moultrie Middle School. The Dock Street Theatre is performing Purlie Victorious starting on Oct 9. The Queen Street Playhouse will be performing The Minutes from Oct 4-20. Higher mortgage rates are still having a big impact on the market, but the Fed cut rates by half a percentage point in September. Through August 2024, we are up 0.6% in transactions versus the same period last year. The Charleston area median sales price is still strong with a 4% increase and our median sales price is now at $430k.
