Charleston home value

Buying activity in Charleston has been surprisingly high for January and so far in February. Areas on the Charleston Peninsula, inside and outside of the Crosstown, had a very strong week for residential properties pending. Last week was also an extremely strong week for condos and town homes.

On the other hand, inventory has been lower during the start of 2017. To meet the demand of buyers in the Charleston area, we are predicting that potential sellers should list their homes as soon as possible. Over the past couple of years, the demand has increased quite a bit, so now is definitely the time to sell if you are thinking about it!

New construction is also booming in the surrounding areas of Charleston. A few new construction neighborhoods that have been popular are Stonoview on Johns Island and Carolina Bay in West Ashley.
